Anti-corruption demonstrators meet AG
ANTI-CORRUPTION members of the Patria Verde took their protest to the steps of the Attorney General’s office on Thursday, November 12 and, vowed to continue their fight.
The group, which mainly consists of members of the opposition parties and independents, met with Attorney General Ana Belfon to discuss their concerns.
Group leader Carlos Rubio said that they are not just focused on making political statements ahead of the upcoming election: "We are committed to fighting corruption not only in this government, but in future governments," he said.
According to Rubio, they reminded Belfon of her constitutional obligation to investigate alleged crimes and to have zero tolerance for crimes that occur in the country
