Bar Association calls for firing of three judges

The National Bar Association (CNA) has filed a complaint of breaches of judicial ethics, and called for the dismissal of the chief justice of the Supreme Court, Alejandro Moncada Luna, Efren and alternate judges and Gabriel Fernández Tello.

The complaint was filed in the General Secretariat of the Court. The three judges signed a Third Chamber ruling which overturned a decision of the Electoral Tribunal, which is described as unconstitutional.

A request for a comment from Moncada Luna, got no reply reports La Prensa/ Judicial sources reported that the Court’s vice president, Harry Diaz, yesterday asked the General Secretariat to report the date of the hearing, and he will be sharing the complaint, with other judges.
