Journalist gets death threats on Twitter
A PANAMA LAWYER and journalist has received death threats and insults on the social network Twitter.
Under the account @ cesitar_8989 with the name Cesar Morales , the message, laced with foul language, said he would order the killing Of Lina Vega Abad, current head of the Research Unit of Group Medcom (under whose umbrella operate TV RPC , RPC Radio and FOX ) .
The account has, until now , 157 followers, says La Prensa. In his profile Morales is described as "a guy looking to move in the city capital city having a good time time with uncomplicated people.I really like alcohol and good music "
Until earlier this year, Vega Abad worked at La Prensa , where her last position was as editor of the Research Unit and was was also the target of threats and derogatory messages through various anonymous videos on the YouTube website .
The journalist responded to the latest attack by forwarding the message from @ cesitar_8989 to all his followers on Twitter : " I send my contacts before locking it so they know where to look if something happens to me … " she wrote.
According to the journalist , the user's response came after she was referred to the theme of a city hospital as medical tourism and In her Twitter account wrote “Lies have short legs.”
