Student vandalism without a cause.
STUDENT VANDALISM unrelated to any formal protest damaged Metro buses and injured two people on Ave Simon Bolivar on Thursday, August 22.
The attacks interrupted buses in the area and caused delays.
According to reports from the National Police (PN) students from the Arts and Crafts College ran down the pedestrian bridge located opposite the school and threw stones at three buses. Officials of the PN, said vandalism was not connected to a protest.
Two people were injured. One of them was hit in the head when a student threw stones that penetrated a window and went inside a Metro Bus
Five students were arrested and PN crowd control agents moved in front of the school
The Mi Bus company reported that bus services were affected by the attacks.
The company called for sanity to avoid compromising the safety of Metro bus users and the integrity of the system.
