Man with key to government contracts arrested in massive drug bust

A MAN whose name had been previously linked to insider deals with the government of Panama, has been arrested in a Dominican Republic drug raid that uncovered  tens of millions of dollars and drugs.

A report published Monday, April 15 by Acento.com.do  in the Dominican Republic says:

The National Drugs Control Agency (DNCD) performed an operation Saturday night screening drug trafficking and money in the resort Casa de Campo, and found tens of millions of dollars and drugs in residences of several important characters of finance and business in the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.

The operation included the seizure of the heads of at least two notable business figures craft business in the Dominican Republic. A source informed Acento.com.do DNCD this Monday at 9 am will be offered a press conference and give details of the operation as well as money and drugs seized.

The residences were Oruña Rogerat No.4 Terrace, Casa de Campo, (https://www.newsroompanama.com/panama/4346-another-man-with-keys-to-government-contracts.html)  and the Puerto Rican entrepreneur Alberto de la Cruz, in Dock 20, of La Marina Casa de Campo.
