Macro garbage aftermath

Photos taken by a resident of Casco Viejo show that although the Macro event ended on Saturday, March 16, by Monday, March 18 the area where events were staged was still littered with garbage.

Says the resident: “Obviously the organizers have no urgency in restoring order and cleanliness after achieving their goal.”

A city resident said: "Hard to believe that what is basically a commercial venture is allowed to get away with it. Do the organizers think it's the duty of the city (ie the taxpayer) to clean up their mess? They should be made to pay."
