Roadblock in Colon talks removed as prisoners freed

The release of 27 protesters arrested during the recent demonstrations in Colon has removed a major road block to the dialogue between a broad front  of  Colon representative and the government.

Some of those arrested October 26 were  accused of looting and  one with carrying a firearm .

Those released include workers of SUNTRACS, the building and allied workers union.

Three people were shot and killed during the protests against a government law allowing the sale of state land in the Colon Free Zone.
