High tide warning for Pacific coast
Panama’s civil defence agency (Sinaproc) has issued a high tide warning for the next week.
High tides on the Pacific side of the isthmus, will be between 16 feet and 18.2 feet through next Sunday, October 21.
Sinaproc Director Arturo Alvarado said residents living in coastal areas should take the necessary precautionary measures, and said that streams and rivers will be especially prone to flooding during heavy rains during the week.
