Italian lawyer to monitor prosecutors investigating Panama links
An Italian lawyer has been appointed by the government of Panama "as a consultant" to to follow step by step the accusations by prosecutors in Naples in the case of Valter Lavítola.
Lavitola is the Italian businessman accused of allegedly paying bribes in Panama. He has been linked in published wire taps to President Ricardo Martinelli.
