Indigenous people protest slow pace of dialogue
Buglé Ngäbe protesters, frustrated with the slow pace of dialogue were blocking roads again on Wednesday March 14, and commenced a march on the presidential palace.
In San Felix Chiriqui indigenous people stood by while in mid afternoon, transport drivers removed the sticks and stones the protestors had put down closing the highway from midday The carriers said that while supporting the protestors the constant closures are hurting the economy
The protestors said they will continue with closures as leverage to speed up the dialogue to be held in City of Knowledge and have not ruled out total closure.
