A tale of two fairs
A fair in President Martinelli’s home town of Sona Veraguas, got $100,000 from his discretionary spending fund.
The International Book Fair at Atlapa which attracts publishers and authors from around the world, was deemed worthy of only $3000.

The Industrial, Agriculture, Tourism and Crafts fair in Veraguas, opened new facilities at its headquarters in Sona on February 6 which received additional support, from the National Assistance Program.
