Government offices make up for carnival break

National and Municipal government offices  will remain open on Saturday Feb 4 and February 11 to make up for carnival days off.

The offices will be closed February 20 and 21, and will reopen at 1 pm. on Wednesday, February 22.

For Panama residents Carnival will be the quietest time of the year as scores of thousands head for the interior or out of the country. Only those close to the Carnival site on the Cinta Costera will feel the effects of noise, partying and garbage
