Still time to register for Caracas marathon

If you want to start the new year off with a healthy scamper there are only a few days left to sign up for the second running of the CAF-Caracas marathon in Venezuela

A strong contingent is expected from the Isthmus  to join 5000 runners from more than 20 countries on February 26.  
"CAF is a marathon world-class event, which allows Caracas to join the South American circuit  of cities that have a marathon with international certification, such as Buenos Aires, Rio, Sao Paulo and Santiago de Chile. The event is listed as the South American Marathon  Championship Marathon and Marathon National Championship in Venezuela. 

There are two route options, 42,195 km and 21.096km.

The level of detail in hosting to athletes is not seen in any other competition said one Panamanian athlete who participated in the first event.
