4.5 earthquake tremor in Kuna Yala

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale was recorded in Kuna Yala  across from El Porvenir at 6.30 pm on Wednesday.

The tremor was felt in  the western part of Colon province and Panama City but no damage was  reported said Arturo Alvarado., director of SINAPROC (Panama’s civil protection system He asked the public to remain calm, as earthquakes are common in the country and  in most cases are undetectable.
