Water back on after noon on Sunday

The water faucets across most of Panama city  will be active again at noon on Sunday according to Idaan, the national  sewage and water authority

Work on the interconnection of  54-inch pipe, near San Miguelito, bridge was progressing well on Saturday and water service should be restored Sunday as planned.

The interconnection in the pipeline forms part of the work for the construction of  Panama’s Metro Line One.The water coming  from the Chilibre treatment plant, source of major water problems for the city last year,  was off throughout Saturday

According  to Idaan potable water was delivered by tankers to hospitals.
