MoH warns of unauthorized sex boosters via social media

Panama’s Ministry of Health MoH, has issued a warning to users and suppliers of  non approved drugs being marketed through social media.

Yeah Gel (male lubricant), Sex Max (for female orgasm ) and Sexual Power 7 (pill of love), are some of the products being marketed without authorization. The MoH says  social media should follow guidelines laid down by law and request a copy of an approval certificate issued by the Department of Pharmacy and Drugs and the authorization of the Commission of Publicity and Propaganda in the MoH.

The Director of the Ministry’s Pharmacy and Drug unit Eric Conte, said that drug marketers who violate the posting rules established by Law No.1 for drugs will face fines of $500 – $1000.

Drug law 1 regulates the general management of the manufacture, import, purchase, distribution , marketing, information and advertising, health registration and quality control of medicines.
