390 cases of dengue reported

August 20, 2011

Health Minister Franklin Vergara said reported Saturday that 390 cases of virulent type 2 dengue fever have been identified in Panama this year.

Type 2 has has serious manifestations, including bleeding results.So far 70 people have contracted hemorrhagic dengue with four deaths
