Beatles, goulash, and good company

Take Beatles music, a specially prepared goulash, half priced Carlsberg and  great company, mix them together and you have a low cost fun night out.

That’s  the recipe for the CanadaPLUS Club “Pub Night” Thursday August 11, at  the Rincon Aleman Restaurant on Calle 51  which lies conveniently between Calle 50 and Via Espana. It’s best reached from Frederico Boyd (turn opposite Nova Scotia Bank)

You don’t have to be  Canadian to attend, in fact the club has members from 17 different countries, including Panama and if you are looking to try out your English or French, this is the group for you.

If you are not a Club member come along anyway, and find out about the  membership benefits from discounted language listens to free wine with your meal at selected restaurants  to discounted Health insurance with BUPA.

The  event starts at 7 p.m . T

here is no cover charge, and if you don’t want to sample the $10 goulash special or take advantage of the  two for one Carlsberg offer, feel free to let your taste buds loose on some of the German specialties of the house, or sample the wide range of German and domestic beers, or just sit  and mix and enjoy the  music of “The Others” group, including all those Beatles hits that people of all ages are still humming.

There will be a tombola with interesting prizes leading you to other entertaining events.

Most importantly it will be time to make new friends, and swop gossip with old ones, and if you are not too full of Goulash and Carlsberg,  you can take to the dance floor.
