Big time hacking finally reaches Panama

An investigation has been opened into the hacking of  "sensitive" emails of Minister of the Presidency Jimmy Papadimitriu.

The information in the emails is described as "sensitive" with the possibility that the hacker has delved further into his computer.

The hacking was discovered on July 4, the day that Papadimitriu accompanied the president to a July 4 celebration at the home of the American ambassador.

In the UK  the government  has been rocked  by news of scandalous hacking of cell phones by newspapers belonging to the Rupert Murdoch empire, causing pain to parents of missing children, or dead war veterans.  Murdoch’s company owns the Wall Street Journal, The Times, The News of the World  and the notorious tabloid  The Sun and television stations. Murdoch has cosy relations with the British Prime Minister.

Elsewhere the CIA,  the American Military and Sony have been victims of hackers. Now the virus has reached Panama.
