Panama continues making soccer history
Panama’s national soccer team continued it’s history making run on Tuesday. June 14 remaining unbeaten in the Concafa Gold Cup and emerging top of Group C and frustrating Canada's hopes of reaching the quarter finals.
The Panama team will face El Salvador in the quarter finals on Sunday, June 18.
Sports bars in Panama City were packed with cheering supporters, and some were forced to turn customers away to avoid overcrowding. The game started at 6 p.m., but seats were filled before 5.
