Murcia loses luxury cars not usable in jail
Two Lamborghinis and two Massratis seized from David Murcia Guzman will not be returned said Public Ministry sources on Friday, June 3.
They were seized by the Fourteenth Circuit Attorney who prosecutes Murcia Guzmán for the illegal taking of funds.
After Third Criminal Judge Quintero Hermes, acquitted Murcia in a trial for money laundering the cars were ordered returned
provided they were not seizes by another authority.
Guzman is in jail in the U.S. awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to money laundering in a plea bargain deal.
He will likely get a nine year sentence. He has already been sentenced in Colombia to 32 years in jail in for his role in a pyramid scheme that defrauded thousands of their money. He faces further charges in Panama.
The “King of pyramids” is not going to be driving any cars for a long time.
