Fresh protests over bus shortages

While the transport authority is busy announcing the introduction of new Metro buses in different sectors, former carriers and passengers  have protested decreasing service on other routes.

On Monday, May 23 they took their protests to Plaza Cinco de Mayo to complain about lack of buses in the sector.

Rigoberto Bocanegra, a spokesman for the route Chepo-Runner, said that  carriers that  authorities recently removed from circulation some 50 buses and now only 14 are operating on that route. 
Users complaints about the lack of buses to transport them to work.
