Venezuelans in Panama linked to exiled Columbian Intelligence chief

CARACAS, Venezuela – Venezuelans living in Panama have been meeting with the former head of Colombia's intelligence agency to plan anti Hugo Chavez programs  says   Venezuelan Vice President Jose Vicente Rangel.

An EFE report quotes him as saying  that Maria del Pilar Hurtado,  who has been granted political asylum in Panama after fleeing from Colombia following investigations into  her activities against judiciary, journalists and legislators is said to have met Venezuelan  refugees to plan destabilizing actions against President Hugo Chavez.

 The meeting  was said to have taken place  in the home of a Venezuelan living on the outskirts of Colon.

Rangel said in a television program that Pilar Hurtado former head of the Department of Administrative Security (DAS) during the government of President Alvaro Uribe (2002-2010) has set up in Panama , "an office to provide  port security services  and international investigation.” an s he was supported by the CIA.
Rangel,  said that the information was  confirmed by "a Colombian admiral involved in intelligence work.
