Pacora bus owners highway blockade in second day
Owners of diablos rojos that have been blocking the Pan American highway at Pacora for over 24 hours remain defiant, and say they will continue their blockade until they get satisfaction from the government.

Twelve aging former school buses have straddles the highway since 5 a.m.Thursday, February 24. 5:00 am, protesting the introduction of the Metro Bus systgem beyond the La Doña, shopping center at December 24.
The buses are blocking all four lanes of the highway forcing residents traveling to Panama city, or trying to get to their jobs in the area arriving to walk long distances to finf transportation. Doctors, nurses and support staff at the Ministry of Health Clinic have been unable to get to work.
Truckers have complained of the long delays, causing missed delivery dates and financial losses.
The Transport Authority (ATTT) said in a press release that the action of the transportistas (owners) was not justified and denied that they would be affected by the implementation of the Metro Bus system
The owners replied on Friday that they will remain in place, despite the road chaos they are causing.
