Taximeters to be tested in Panama

Panama is moving closer to reducing the confusion of the current taxi fare system with the testing of meters in cabs.

The National Taxi Drivers Union representatives of Panama’s Transit Authority (ATTT) and three experts from Ecuador will meet on January 29 to start the program

The test of the taximeters will be extended for as long as necessary and then brought before the ATTT Board for a final decision.
