Advisor defends new city driver tax
A legislator-cum-advisor to Panama’s Mayor, was quick to rush to the defense of the new license plate tax system.
It is not to pay for the Bosco Vallarino Folly on Cinta Costera but for services being provided said Jose Isabel Blandon on Telemetro Report December 21
During the newscast, Blandon said that the additional sources generated by the tax increas will not go to work, but for investment.
He said the reform will allow the municipality to have the resources to improve sidewalks ,parking lots , parks, needy areas and kindergartens.
The new tax regime implies that cost of license plates will be determined by the value of the vehicle at the time of registration.
