An insight into the thinking of young Panamanians

If your Spanish is up to it you might get an interesting insight into Panama’s youth view of the world by visiting Teatro la Quadra to see Juego Libre presented by students from Louisville University.

A group of youths are trying to find their place in a globalized world, while discussing sex, drugs, and ambitions. This play has elements of social criticism but also emphasizes the importance of individuality and self actualization. It is fast paced, entertaining. On stage there will be lots of movements, changes of rythm and speed, the actors will interpret a vast array of characters representiong the different elements of Panamanian society. The play will be complemented with audio and video. Performances nightly at 8.30 p.m. December 9 to 17.
