Mexico drug arrests linked to Panama

Mexico’s Federal Police have arrested five people involved in a Panama linked money laundering network for a Mexican drug cartel.

 Ramon Martinelli, cousin of Panama’s president  Ricardo Martinelli is accused of being a member of the cartel reports La Prensa

The Public Security Ministry said three men and two women were arrested, on charges of integrating an organization dedicated to transporting U.S. dollars from Mexico to Panama for the the Beltran Leyva brothers.
