Drug traces found in police cars in Colon

 The Deputy Police Commissioner of Colón has been removed from his post after "traces" of drugs were found in two vehicles assigned to police in the area under his command.

The measure was only applied to Nelson and not the rest of the officers who work in the department.

The Drug Prosecutor’s Office in Colón has also opened an investigation into the remains of drugs found in police vehicles in the province.
