Italys foreign minister to meet with Martinelli

President Ricardo Martinelli is scheduled to meet next week with Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini.

EFE news agency reported yesterday that the Minister is also expected to make a visit to the Panama Canal.

Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez confirmed that on Wednesday May 26 Frattini will arrive in Caracas. The visit by the Italian representative to Venezuela will end at noon on Thursday 27, after participating in a meeting of the Venezuelan-Italian Joint Committee.
