Junglewood was launched in February 2009 with dramatic collaborative performances by participants from Fundación Danilo Pérez; Earth Train; and BioMuseo, the Frank Gehry-designed museum of biodiversity now under construction in Panama City.
Temporarily housed at Earth Train’s Centro Madroño campus, planning is now underway for the development of Junglewood’s physical facilities on nearby land.
The project is a partnership between the Fundación Danilo Pérez, Earth Train, Berklee College of Music, and Rainforest Capital. The Center will also contribute educational resources to BioMuseo in keeping with their theme of "Panama is the museum."
Earth Train creates the context for the development of new leaders, new networks, and new tools that catalyze a new paradigm in sustainable environmental and cultural practices. Earth Train works with wide array of partners including the Fundación Danilo Pérez, the Frank Gehry Biodiversity Museum, the Jane Goodall Institute, the Kuna General Congress and Dream Change.
