The historic Plaza of San Juan de Dios, in Santiago, province of Veraguas, was the epicenter of the closing campaign of Rómulo Roux, presidential candidate of the alliance between Cambio Democratico and the Panameñista Party.  Unlike the other candidates for the Palacio de Las Garzas, Roux was the only one who celebrated his closing campaign in the interior of the country, perhaps trying to send a message to the electorate of the provinces in the final stretch of this electoral process with a key date of May 5, when voters will be able to go to the polls. 'I am trained to work from day one,' said Rómulo in Veraguas.
