Covid infections reach new daily high

The Ministry of Health (Minsa) reported 5,186 new cases of Covid -19 on Wednesday, January 6, a new daily record

So far in 2021, there are 18,166 new cases  bringing  the number  of active cases to 52,053

In addition, the health authority reported 45 new deaths, for a total of 4,283.  , 19,830 tests were applied, for a percentage of positivity of 26.1%
