More friendly police uniforms coming

Panama’s National Flag Day, Thursday November 4 may also mark the introduction of more citizen-friendly police uniforms.

National Police director Gustavo Pérez made the announcement during a ceremonial delivery of a new fleet of police vehicles. It includes sedans, buses, and motorcycles.
Pérez said: said that, with this new image, the police force seeks to provide a better service to the community.
There have been complaints in recent years about the battlefield military aspect of police uniforms.
