Gasoline price due for another fall

After months of a steady increase in gasoline prices, the trend is now downwards with forecasts that a gallon of gasoline could fall as much as 30 cents.

Following a 32 cent drop in the price of 95 octane fuel last week a drop of 30 cents could bring the price almost in line with that of 91 octane which has been frozen at $3,99.
At one stage it was suggested that the price freeze would end, allowing 91 octane to fall, and maintain the gap between it and the higher rate fuel, but the authorities decided to maintain it until the state has recovered the subsidy.
