Overnight closures on Bridge of Americas

If you are plan to use the Bridge of the Americas during the next four nights, stand by for a slower ride home.

The outer lanes of the bridge connecting Panama city with the hinterland, will be closed from 10 pm to 4 am starting Monday Agust 22 to Thursday August 25.

The Ministry of Public Works  says that traffic flow will be toally suspended for 15 minutes each night to take measurements and avoid vibrations that affect them.

No times have been given for the full closure. The public has been asked to stay alert for future announcements.
