Name disclosures in manslaughter charges irks nurses’ union

The disclosure of the names of the officials of the Social Security Fund (CSS) charged with manslaughter is "irresponsible" says the Nurses Association (ANEP) President.

Elidia Espinosa  said that  the names of the workers, including two nurses came to public light without those involved knowing why charges were formulated.

She  said that one of the affected, only received a note to go, as charged, to the Third Superior Prosecutor.

ANEP said it will analyze the situation at special meeting on Wednesday and it is  expected to make legal representations to  CSS.

The Public Ministry brought charges against 11 CSS officials for the death of 14 patients from the KPC bacterium (Kliepsella neumonoide carbapenemase).
