Panama hit by 3 minor quakes
Three earthquakes, two of them of magnitude 4.2 and another of 4.5 on the Richter scale, rocked western Panama on Saturday November 17.
Official said no casualties or damage, have been reported.
The Institute of Geosciences at the University of Panama said on its website that the first quake, of magnitude 4.2, occurred at 8.32 am local time (1.32 pm . GMT) in the Chiriqui highlands bordering Costa Rica.
The quake had a depth of 10 kilometers and its epicenter was located in the region of Volcano.
The 4.5 earthquake, , occurred at 3 pm local time (8 pm GMT) and had a depth of 10 kilometers and was centered near Punta Burica Lemons, also in the province of Chiriqui
