Michael J. Holloway, Britain’s Ambassador to Panama, took his final bow on his last working day in the country at an outstandingly successful conference on Thursday March 21.

“Britain in Panama”, a trade and promotional event organized by the British Embassy and the British Chamber of Commerce, focused on the retail industry and a packed audience of local business leaders and entrepreneurs heard panels discuss why “Shopping in Panama is Great” and why “Panama is the Retail Gateway to Latin America” and finally British retail experts delivering insights as to why London is the Shopping Capital of The world.

For Ambassador Holloway, a passionate believer in his country and its role in Panama , it was a proud day as attendees universally recognized  the quality of the event with true value added, and Joseph Salterio, Chairman of the British Chamber of Commerce publicly recognized him as the best performer and producer the embassy has known. The audience applause underlined Salterio's words. Ambassador Holloway leaves Panama on March 31.
