Regional Health Director and alternate deputy Algis Torres and Deputy Vidal García almost came to blows on Sunday September 8 during an altercation outside a polling station for the CD primary.

According to Torres the deputy's supporters were threatening and assaulting one of his followers.

"The deputy came with evil activists," he said.
The altercation took place outside the Mayor Díaz polling station
García could not be reached for comment says La Prensa, as he had turned off his cell phone.
