One dead 8 injured in drug-war helicopter crash

ONE PERSON and at least people injured left after a helicopter crash during an anti-drug operation In the early hours of Thursday, February 6.

The operation was being conducted by Panama’s National Air Service (Senan),

Among the wounded is Belsio González Sánchez, CEO of Senan, who was piloting the helicopter.
A spokesman for Sinan described his condition as stable.
The crash of the helicopter, with nine crew members who participated was in the Mansukun (Kuna Yala).region
The injured were taken to the National  Hospital in Panama City for medical treatment. 
At the time of the crash the helicopter was pursuing a boat suspected of drug traffikcing. The boat was later found with six bags of cocaine on board. There were no arrests.
