Panamas budget up $500 miilion

PANAMA’S STATE general budget for 2016 was published in the Government Gazette on Black Friday, November 27, but there were no discounts.

In total, the approved budget will be $20.1 billion which represents an increase of $500 million compared to the original 2015 budget of $19.6 billion.

The central government was assigned $11.3 billion while decentralized institutions are assigned $6.4 billion.
