Free tutorials to sharpen your camera images

IN A WORLD  dominated by  mobile devices  “selfies, ” instagrams,  and  the near universal belief that everyone is a photographer, there are still those who believe that photography is an art form and requires something more than the ability to point and click.

If you fit in to that categor or  are someone who likes to carry a camera everywhere and want to advance your photographic skills beyond a shot of  a dessert at a local restaurant,  there is  a free online   course offered by Corporacion La Prensa S.A. (Corprensa) and Canon Panama, with  ne advanced level tutorials starting on April 6.
To participate, just visit and register at  www.canon.prensa.com. The first of the eight tuorials   that make up the advanced level will appear April 6, . Each new chapter will be published on Wednesdays.

Canon Panama  product expert, Jose Cuervo, will give online classes and interested parties can access them on the at a time of their choosing.

THE BASICS
Sofia Ramos, digital marketing specialist La Prensa, has provided a course of the basic and intermediate levels, still on the website. To Complete the full course you can take six months and providing useful knowledge on techniques developed in digital photography.

The advanced level  deals with  professional issues likE  the “fisheye,” Tilt & Shift, macro photography, night photography, photo effects, filters, and audio video.

The programs prior to the advanced tutorials to give basic advice, such as the proper way to hold the camera, achieving artistic effects and exposure measurement to get the most out of digital cameras. The  project was  launched in September 2015.
