Gasoline prices moving up

AS OIL PRICES continue to rise Panama’s National Energy Secretariat (SNE)   is keeping pace, with another increase at the pumps scheduled to kick in on Friday, June 10 at 6 am.

95 octane gasoline will rise to 74 cents a liter ($2.80 a gallon) an increase of five cents a gallon.

91 octane gasoline will reach 0.713 cents a liter ($2.70 a gallon) a 7 cents a gallon  increase.

Meanwhile, low sulfur diesel moves up to 0.592 cents a liter ($2.24 cents per gallon) an increase of five cents.

The SNE reminds  consumers that Panama is a “net importer” and prices reflect  international market prices.
