Fire destroys home, 7 vehicles, injures 9

A three-story home and at least seven vehicles were destroyed in a fire that injured nine on Tuesday morning in the Diablo sector, of Panama, reports the Fire Department.

Firefighters reported that a person was injured with burns and a fracture. The injured were taken to medical centers for treatment.

“When we got to the place we found that the three-story mansion was entirely on fire. At the top were people evacuating and at the bottom seven vehicles which were a total loss, ”reported Lieutenant Eusebio Morales, of the Panama Fire Department.

Units from Balboa, Calidonia, Clayton, and Plaza Amador stations went to the scene to put out the fire.
