Spotify moves to combat Covid misinformation

AFP – Spotify will take action to combat misinformation about Covid-19 on its platform, the Swedish online music giant announced on Sunday, following a boycott movement launched by folk-rock legend Neil Young.

The world number one in music streaming will apply links in all podcasts that mention Covid, guiding its users to factual and scientifically verified information, its president and founder Daniel Ek announced in a statement on Sunday.
