China says US must explain  biological military activities

United States must convincingly explain its biological military activities in Ukraine and around the world as soon as possible, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said Thursday.

The spokesman told a daily briefing that the international community has serious concerns about the purpose of US research in biological labs in Ukraine and whether the country conducted dangerous research banned in the US at its facilities abroad.

Wang said  that the US side cannot remain silent or simply evade by claiming that the relevant reports are “disinformation.”

The best way for the United States to prove its innocence is to open its doors and allow scrutiny by the international community, Wang said, urging the United States to be candid about its biological military activities in Ukraine and the rest of the world, and stop block the construction of the verification protocol of the Biological Weapons Convention.
