20 in line for Canal Authority top job

To date, there are 20 people wanting to take over the administration of the  Panama Canal Authority (ACP) when the seven-year term of   Jorge Luis Quijano ends in September this year.

Minister for Canal Affairs, Roberto Roy, said that a team of experts has been formed to help in the selection of Quijano’s replacement, but the final decision, by law will be made by  the board of directors of the Canal Authority.
