Martinelli conquers or denigrates women environmental candidate
THE PRESIDENT has two ways of attacking women: conquer or denigrate . In my case it is to denigrate." says environmentalist Raisa Banfield who is running for election as Panama City’s deputy mayor.
She was referring to one of the latest of President Ricardo Martinelli’s shoot from the Twit jibes, saying that Banfield, an architect by profession, if elected, would stop construction in the city except when her husband did the environmental impact studies.
Banfield running mate to mayoral candidate Jose Isabel Blandon, Panameñista said she considers that Martinelli, wants to bring the issue of political campaigning down to a personal level and seeks to to divert attentionfrom the contents of her proposals to bring order to the capital city.
Blandon, said Martinelli is showing signs of fear of losing political power. “If I'm mayor, say farewell to the past and the corruption of this government.
