Second child dead after police shooting

STAFF at Santo Tomas Hospital announced late Thursday, October 24, the death of the second child shot by police in plain clothes at a check point in San Carlos the day before.
The latest victim, a 15-year-old girl who had recently arrived in the country from India, had been air lifted to the hospital after the shooting, along with a two-year old who died en route
An investigation is under way and three police officers including a sergeant and a lieutenant have been assigned to desk duties at the National Police Headquarters in Ancon.
